NAJYRC 2018-Rylee & Dukes Up

My name is Rylee Gailey and I am on a path towards the 1* Team at The North American Junior Young Rider Championships with my horse, Dukes Up. I am fundraising for the event which will be held in Montana this upcoming summer from July 18th through the 22nd.
I have worked very hard for the past three years trying to qualify to make the team but various issues have come up that have restricted me from being able to chase this dream. This year, I began my partnership with my horse, Duke, in March. Although we have not been together long, we have come out top ten in six of the nine events we have competed in, two of which were national and international events. This past weekend, we qualified for the NAJYRC team and will continue to work hard to make a spot on the Area III USA team. If I am not chosen to be on the team, the money will go toward future shows to qualify me for future endeavors beyond the young rider program.
My partnership with Duke increases more and more everyday and I am proud of us getting to where we are today. I am so proud to say that we have come this far; however, the Championships are in Montana, which is costly and very far. But with everyone's help, Duke and I can make it to Montana to compete on the 1* team!
