“Skyline Park Pump Track” Project

It’s time to bring a Bicycle Skills Course, aka Pump Track, to Napa.  Wondering what a pump track is?  A pump track is a continuous circuit of banked turns interspersed by rollers and other features.  Riders create momentum via up and down body movements called pumping.  The course appeals to all ages and is a great way to learn bicycle handling skills. 

Thanks to the Skyline Park Citizens Association (SPCA),  the “Skyline Park Pump Track” project is born.  A site near the main entrance has been selected and the SPCA has graciously agreed to be the facilitator.  A design-build Contractor has been tentatively selected and will soon be ready to go.  Now we just need to raise some money.
