Skyline High (Oakland) Class of '70 - 50th Reunion
Donation protected
Skyline High Class of ’70, Faculty and Friends,
Due to the current uncertainty around travel and mass gatherings for the fall of this year, the Reunion Committee was forced to postpone our 50th reunion until the weekend of October 1 - 3, 2021.
We have done everything we can to unwind current commitments, obtain deposit refunds and negotiate favorable arrangements for next year. However, the Committee has incurred a material amount of costs that we will not be able to recover and/or will need to duplicate next year.
To avoid having the committee absorb these costs individually we are asking for your help. Our goal is to raise $8,000 that will be used to offset the costs of communications/mailings, fees paid for search engines to find classmates and faculty, and to help with the costs of the event arrangements for next year. Hopefully this will allow us to keep the price to attend the reunion next year at a reasonable level.
A donation of any amount will be greatly appreciated. If for unforeseen reasons we are not able to have the reunion at all, any remaining funds will be donated to Skyline High.
Thank you in advance for your understanding and support.
We hope you and your family stay safe during these unprecedented times. We look forward to ‘Getting Together’ and celebrating our 50/51 years since Skyline and hopefully a return to normalcy next year.
