Skyler's Spinal Surgery Fund

Hello everyone. As most of you know, Skyler and Emma recently found out that Skyler has a tumour. The tumour is about the size of a hockey puck but half as thick growing in his neck. After a long stressful wait while different specialists reviewed his biopsy results, they finally recieved the news that the tumor is chordoma.
Chordoma is a type of bone tumor and fortunately it is benign, but because of its size and location it requires a specialized neurosurgeon to remove. They will need to travel to California to Stanford hospital to get the tumour removed. This surgery is not without risk, as the tumour is growing into his brainstem. What this means is a 5 week minimum stay in the U.S. 
While the surgery and hospital stay is able to be covered by the Government of Canada, flights and accommodations will add up quickly. International travel during a pandemic, accommodations for at least 5 weeks are a strain no young couple wants in their lives while dealing with a medical emergency.

At 28, no one anticipates this being their reality. Whatever you are able to give is so appreciated in this difficult time.
