As some of you already know, Amanda and Vince are going through the hardest time of their lives. On Friday, May 20th, Amanda found their 2 year daughter Skyler unconscious. She called 911 and kept doing CPR until the ambulance got to the house. After 45-60 minutes they were finally able to get a faint pulse and get Sky hooked up to life support. She was airlifted to Children's Hospital and they did a brain scan on her. Unfortunately, throughout the night her brain swelling got significantly worse. After a couple days of non stop testing she is declared brain dead and she cannot live without the ventilator. The only thing they can find wrong with Skyler is she tested positive for Advenovirus. A common cold that every kid gets when they are younger the doctor said. But, in rare cases, can cause brain swelling and cardiac arrest. Her scans are also showing similarities to SIDS so its hard to be certain what actually caused this nightmare. Sky has fought so hard. Amanda and Vince are choosing to donate whatever organs they can to help out other kids in need. Knowing baby Sky will be living through those other kids is one of the things keeping them going.

This is so hard on them, and on Aubree. They want to bring their sweet girl back to Michigan for her viewing/memorial, I am hoping to raise some funds to help with that. If there is any extra money it will be used so Vince can take as much time as he needs off work so they can both try and get through this and help Aubree through this without worrying about their mortgage or anything else.

So many people have reached out and went above and beyond to come see our sweet girl to say their goodbyes and we all appreciate it. She is still with us for a few more days so please give them space while they are spending their final days with their "little butt"
