Hello! My name is Skyler, I'm 17 years old. Almost 3 years ago, my mother Jennifer Kuhn and my grandmother Fran Kuhn sadly passed away, and ever since then I have been in a financial rut. Unfortunately, that financial rut is only gonna get even deeper. Yesterday, (March 12th, 2025) some horrible lady ran my cat Fish over with her car. after going down and talking to her (she was very rude and wouldn't even TRY to compromise with me or my fiance, and it soon just turned into a civil dispute), we took Fish to MedVet Diley Hill near Lancaster. They gave him a $200 exam, a pain shot, and an ultrasound. However, they wanted to do all of that and then some, including blood tests, 2 x-rays, and giving him some more pain medication. Unfortunately, we were not approved for any credit or payment plan, and Fish had to go without treatment as we were unable to pay for him to be treated in the way he needed. As of right now, we have been trying to tend to his injuries at home due to the financial constraint. His treatment in full was supposed to cost us around $1,200 before tax and extra pain medication. The goal is set at 1,500 to pay for any more expenses that might come up, (including euthanization if we absolutely must go that route) and to pay for all of the treatment our sweet boy needs to get better. We were also unable to pay for the initial exam in full, as we only had $114 to spare. With that being said, I am here asking for help as I have no other option. To pay off Fish's initial exam, we need 87 dollars. To pay for everything he needs completely, we still need $1,086.
