On Sunday November 6, 2016 my husband Randall and I lost our eldest daughter, Skyler Nicole Hamilton in a senseless accident. Skyler was crossing a busy street roughly between 10-10:30pm and was hit by a car. She died instantly and we have been told she felt no pain. She had an infectious smile and brightened any room she entered. She was turning 18 on November 26th and this was so exciting to her. She could not wait to run out into the world and take on as much as she could. Her dream was to finish high school, go to college and work for the FBI. I had the great fortune of marrying her Daddy, Randall, when she was only five years old. Lucky for us Randall had custody of her and I had custody of Bailey & Tanner who were 5 & 3 at the time. Bailey & Skyler are 23 days a part so when they were little we called them our twinsters and they always dressed alike. I am so grateful I got to be this precious girl's mother for the majority of her life. Like all families we had our ups and downs, but we all loved eachother greatly. Recently Skyler had been living with her Mother in Colorado, but she moved back here Dec 2015 until middle of May 2016. Having all this time with her recently was so very wonderful. We constantly breathed love into her, we prayed with and for her, While she was with us she was embracing God and was turning a corner.
We are deepely saddened the loss of our precious baby girl, but we know it was an accident. We blame no one. We are grateful that God allowed the five months this past year with her. We have so many great memories. We do need some help. We would like to be able to all fly up to Colorado to be with Skyler and say goodbye. We have a family of five. We will need plane tickets, hotel rooms and food. We will also be paying a portion of whatever funeral expenses the mother can't pay. We appreciate anything you can afford... even if it's just prayer. Thank you so much. We love you all. Your support has been amazing!!!
