- Hello Everyone!! My name is Ashley, and I am one of Skylee’s Dance coaches at Black Gold Dance in Tioga. Skylee Christopher is a beautiful, kind and loving 13 year old from Stanley, ND and attends Stanley Public Schools, her parents are Lauren and Dale Christopher, she also has two siblings at home Harmoni and Aiden. Skylee and has been dealing with health issues for a few months now and unfortunately had a turn of bad luck. On January 16th she had to be life flighted to the Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Upon arrival they found she had a blood clot in her hip along with a bad blood infection, muscle and kidney infection. She has had to undergo way more than any 13 year old should have to. She has undergone surgeries, rounds of medication, multiple tests and procedures. Her latest procedure, the Dr.s had to go in for a third time to try and rid her hip of the infection and had to place a drain. As of now she has no discharge date in site as they are having such a hard time ridding her body of infection. This has been an awful situation for their whole family as Lauren has stayed by Skylee’s side and Dale has had to travel back and forth when it works! I’m asking everyone to please lift this family up in your thoughts and prayers to give them hope and strength for healing and to bring Skylee home as her happy and healthy self!
