Skylar's Sudden Loss: A Call for Support

The Gloss Nail Salon Family would appreciate your help as we support our dear friend and colleague in a time of need.

It is with an unbearably heavy heart that we share the loss of our friend’s precious son, Skylar Hoang. He recentlty turned 12 on October 8, 2024. Skylar passed away on January 4, 2025 from complications with Leukemia. Five weeks after being diagnosed the day after Thanksgiving he was admitted to the ICU.

Skylar was more than a loving son, he was an amazing big brother. He was a joyful and beautiful soul who brought warmth and laughter to everyone around him. He had a heart full of kindness, a beautiful smile, and a spirit that made the world such a better place. This tragedy was so unexpected and sudden therefore our grief is beyond words.

As the family tries to navigate through this difficult time, we’re asking for your help and support to help cover the unexpected medical and funeral expenses that have come with this tragedy. These expenses have added a heavy financial burden on an already unbearable situation. Your generous donations would mean the world as we try and help our friend through this terrible time. We want to be able to give him the farewell he deserves, one that reflects the love and light he gave to all of us. This would allow us to support the family so they can focus on grieving and remembering him.
