Support Skylar's Facial Feminization Surgery!

Hi everyone <3 My partner Skylar is scheduled to get Facial Feminization Surgery this November, and we’re looking for community support to help raise funds for this exciting milestone in her transition!

For those who don’t know, Facial Feminization Surgery (FFS) is a series of gender affirming procedures that can massively improve quality of life for trans women and transfeminine individuals, and it’s often a life changing and life saving surgery. This is a huge decision and a massive undertaking, and the recovery from such a large surgery will mean that Sky will be away from work for multiple weeks while she heals. Sky has been transitioning since 2020 and has battled with gender dysphoria her entire life - your donations will directly support Skylar during this crucial step in her transition!

Funds raised will be used to cover medical costs associated with the surgery, travel expenses from the hospital, medical supplies and prescriptions, living expenses, pre & post-op doctor’s visits, and to help recoup lost income for the recovery time that she’ll be unable to work. We’ll also be posting regular updates throughout the process before and after surgery to the GoFundMe page.

I have so much pride for Skylar in taking this step in her transition, and I have seen her grow so much into herself in the time I’ve known her. There have been so many obstacles in Sky’s path to receiving gender affirming care, and yet she has been driven and determined to seek happiness and fulfillment and hasn’t let anything get in her way. I am writing this while in recovery from FFS myself, and I can say firsthand it’s a lot to go through, but Sky is ready for this. She has such a beautiful soul and shares so much of herself with those who surround her - she is endlessly creative and curious, and I am so thankful to be a part of her support system taking care of her during her recovery.
