This Go Fund Me is for my sister and her family to help cover funeral and memorial costs for their 17-year-old son. Skylar was an amazing young man; he touched many lives! The sweetest boy you will ever meet. He had the biggest heart and would always tell you how much he loved you. He had many special talents including his music. He would try anything, such a zest for life and figuring things out. He was a free spirit. One of the funniest people you'd ever meet. He is going to be missed tremendously. He was the life of the party at every family event. He had a way of making friends anywhere he went.

Skylar was injured in a shooting; he was shot in the back of his head. The Drs were unable to remove the bullet, due to its position in the brain. They declared him clinically dead.

My sister decided to allow him to become an organ donor, if we can’t have him then allowing him to leave a legacy and have his organs give life to others was somehow easier. His organs were able to be donated to several people. His amazing, sweet and caring heart will still beat in another person's body. ❤️
