Hello! My name is Skylar. My girlfriend, Aster, and I have been struggling financially as of late. Aster is unable to work due to disability, and I have been unable to find work despite sending out countless applications and having many interviews. We are both trans women, which unfortunately does not aid in the process of seeking out a job. This is the last thing I wanted to do, but despite my efforts to avoid it, it's time to ask for help.

I have gone into roughly $3,500 worth of credit card debt to keep our bills paid and food on the table, but rent is unfortunately not able to be processed via credit card. I am currently sitting on $200 in my checking account, and rent totals to $1,350 on the first of the month. Luckily, we have a roommate who pays half, but that still leaves $675 as my responsibility. With our tax returns hitting soon, we should be able to just squeeze by this month, but it's truthfully far too close for comfort.

I've set the goal of this campaign to $3,500 to ideally clear the credit card debt while I continue to search for a proper job. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and you would have my dearest thanks. Thank you for taking the time to read through <3
