Hi friends,

Skye is getting bottom surgery this winter and in preparation we're doing our best to raise some funds for recovery and other logistics. The recovery period is long and intensive, and she's expected to be out of work for several months. There are also numerous expenses associated with medical aftercare including travel for Skye and plane tickets for support people, supplies, rent/bills and all the other necessities that are required to live and heal from a major procedure.

We, along with other supportive friends, are doing a lot of planning to make sure she's as well taken care of as possible and a big part of that is being able to alleviate some of the financial stress. Skye (as most people in this position) felt weird about crowdsourcing at all because putting yourself on blast like this is hard and invasive. So with her consent, I'm organizing this GoFundMe. Surgery is December 17th so we're starting to raise funds now.
