Skye's Recovery: A Family's Plea for Help

Hi everyone, my name is Elizabeth Tavera. This is Skye - my three-year-old Cockapoo and best friend to my 9-year-old daughter. Skye has served as her anchor and emotional support.

This past weekend, while eating dinner with my family, my daughter brought it to my attention that Skye was acting out of character. She was sitting by the wall, refusing to move, and it was soon discovered that it was due to the fact that she lost the ability to move her two back legs.

My son and I took her to the vet immediately and were then referred to another hospital where we sat waiting for 4 hours to be seen. We were told that she has IVDD and would require surgery as soon as possible. The estimate we were given was 10k, which is a price we are unable to pay. Please, anything helps.

I would love for Skye to walk and run around again. It pains me to see her lying down in pain and unable to move.
