Skye Clark's Medical Expenses & Celebration Fund

Our mom, Skye Clark, was that person everyone who knew her was thankful we did, and people who didn’t know her felt like they did because everyone was mom's friend! Our house was always full of kids growing up, and she was a mother to all of them.

In May of this year, Schuyler Jubert-Clark got the news nobody wanted to hear. When she learned she had stage four uterine cancer, she never questioned that she was going to fight for her life. And fight for her life, she did for the past four months. She laughed and cried and spent time with her whole family; she managed Empty Hands Vintage for her daughter, the founder, Jordan. EHV is their legacy. She also helped her get her tattoo business going. Jordan was her caretaker the entire time. She spent hours with her son, Hunter, as he started college courses and made plans for their future. Dreams are never in short supply when she’s around.

On September 14, 2022, Skye passed away surrounded by her four kids, her grandchildren, and her ex-husband & best friend Rick, wrapped in hugs and to the sound of a cacophony of “I love you”.

Her life touched every corner from Reno to LA, where she was raised. She went to Campbell Hall School, where she continuously felt called to return to visit yearly with her reunion brunches.

If you knew Skye, then you know her bubbly personality had as much bounce as her hair. Her laugh was contagious. Her smile told stories of a great life full of love and light. But most of all, her infectious giggle when she was on a roll is a sound we will miss forever. Truly taken too soon and called before we were ready. We are mourning and doing our best to heal.

We are starting this Go Fund Me because fighting for our lives in the American medical system is expensive. Jordan has been off for the past four months to be our mom's caretaker, and the medical bills and end-of-life expenses are high. We hope to raise $15,000 to help Jordan and Hunter so they can focus on healing and not worry about the bills still rolling in.

Please share your favorite memory of her below; we want to hear them.
