Hi everyone! My name is Jessica, I am a Peadiatric Physiotherapy Assistant at Woodlawn School. In June, I’m taking on a charity skydive to help raise vital funds for our much-loved hydrotherapy pool, a resource that plays an essential role in supporting the physical wellbeing, comfort, and development of our students. Our hydrotherapy pool offers therapeutic benefits that can’t be achieved anywhere else. Woodlawn School is a fully inclusive school for pupils aged 2½ to 18 years with physical, medical, sensory needs and/or moderate learning difficulties. Their mission — “Celebrating Opportunity, Sharing Success” — truly comes to life every day.

The current fundraising project is an ambitious one: refurbishing the school’s Swimming and Hydrotherapy Pool, which has been in use since 1992. This pool is an invaluable resource, especially for students who are wheelchair users or require hydrotherapy as part of rehabilitation before or after surgery or medical procedures.
