I’m fundraising on behalf of my beautiful friend, Carly Scott, who was diagnosed with cervical cancer almost a year ago. Since then, her journey has taken an incredibly difficult turn, as the cancer has spread and she has been told that it is no longer curable through the NHS.
However, there is still hope. A specialist clinic in Germany may be able to offer treatment, but Carly needs to raise £30,000 to access it—and she’s already made an inspiring start.
To help raise funds, I will be taking on a huge personal challenge—jumping 7,000ft out of a plane on Sunday 29th March. It’s something that definitely pushes me out of my comfort zone, but it feels like nothing compared to what Carly is facing
Carly is truly one of the most kind-hearted, positive, and resilient people I know. We work together in a form class at an SEMH school, where she has made a lasting impact on both staff and students. Her absence has been deeply felt—our students were devastated by the news, and she is missed every single day.
Even while facing her own battle, Carly has continued to support and uplift those around her. She has been a source of strength for me personally over the past couple of years, and her hope and positivity never waver.
If you’re able to donate or share this page, you’ll be helping give Carly a chance at life and bringing hope to someone who has given so much to others. Thank you so much for your support.
