Skydive to support Toni's holistic path of healing

Hi, my name’s Elliot, and I’m doing two skydives to raise funds for my close friend Toni — alongside her partner Dan, my brother Lewis and our friends Michael & Karl.

Toni was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year. In an incredibly brave and deeply personal decision, she has chosen to pursue a holistic path of healing and has been treating her cancer on her own for the past few months, guided by her own beliefs and values. Because she initially declined conventional treatment options such as surgery and chemotherapy, the NHS unfortunately discharged her from care, leaving her without vital support, scans, or follow-ups unless she consented to a full breast removal.

She has since been offered further support at the RVI in Newcastle, but for now, Toni has decided to continue her holistic journey for the next three months. After that, she plans to reassess and consider surgery as a last resort.

Toni’s choice hasn’t been easy, but she’s met it with incredible strength and dignity. She’s determined to heal on her own terms — but that comes with a significant financial burden. Holistic treatments, supplements, therapies, and ongoing care quickly add up.

We share a French bulldog, Murphy, and I see first hand how much Toni is committed to healing — not just for herself, but for the life and love she gives so freely to everyone around her.

These skydives are our way of easing some of the financial pressure. Whether you believe in modern medicine, holistic methods, or a combination of both — this is about giving someone the chance to face their journey the way they feel is right for them.

Dan will also be completing four rounds of 18 holes of golf in a single day, and Toni’s employers are organising a charity bike ride — all to raise funds to help Toni access the treatment and care she needs.

We will also be organising other activities to help raise extra funds over the next couple of months which we will share on social media channels.
