Next Tuesday, I’ll be taking on a tandem skydive and have decided to raise money for a fantastic charity that does incredible work supporting men’s mental health.

As June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month, it felt like the perfect opportunity to support a cause that is very close to my heart. Over the years, I have had several friends who have struggled with their mental health, and I know how important it is to have somewhere to turn when times get tough.

I’m raising money for ANDYSMANCLUB, a charity that facilitates support groups where men aged 18 and over can speak openly about their struggles in a safe, non-judgemental environment through shared experiences. Their groups run nationwide every Monday at 7pm (excluding bank holidays), are entirely volunteer-led, and are free for any man who needs support.

Too often, men suffer in silence and feel unable to talk about their feelings. It’s vital that we continue breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health and encourage more open conversations. No one should feel they have to face their challenges alone.

More information about ANDYSMANCLUB Limited: ANDYSMANCLUB are a male suicide prevention charity. We were established in 2016 after the tragic loss of Andrew Roberts to suicide aged 23. We facilitate non professional peer to peer support groups across the UK for any man to attend over 18. We provide a confidential non judgemental space for men to come together to chat about anything that they would like to get off of their chest. We have no waiting list, no referral or signing in process.
