Hi, I’m Ellis from Heywood and extremely scared of planes.

Unfortunately I lost my dad to suicide last year and every year I’ve pledged to raise money and awareness for men’s mental health and the charities that look out for those struggling.

This year I have chosen to raise money by doing a sky dive from 15,000ft to raise some funds for my chosen charity, Well Mental UK on the 25th of July 2025. 

Well Mental UK is a CIC which is run by a small group of volunteers in Heywood. Their aim is to make a positive impact on people's mental health and wellbeing by motivating them to get physically active and outdoors.

Making a safe and welcoming community for people of all backgrounds, sharing positivity and awareness of mental health to aid in recovery and change people's lives for the better. They love seeing people doing well! Well Mental also organise walks where everyone is invited and can get involved.

The money raised will help Well Mental to carry on doing an amazing job and being there for the community, and allow them to keep putting on the fitness sessions that support men within the community.

I am absolutely petrified but I believe it’s a great way to raise money, so if you can help me to support well mental it would be appreciated.
