My mum Sarah and my grandad George will be completing a skydive on May 28th to raise money for Encephalitis international, a cause so close to our hearts.

Our granny Jill contracted Encephalitis over 20 years ago causing permanent brain damage and short term memory loss, she spent the next 10 years in rehabilitation units which enabled her to finally come home with the support of carers.

In 2022 my son Marley (Jill’s great grandson) contracted Meningoencephalitis, which we are still navigating as a family to find out the extent that this has affected him and his development.

As a family we have experienced the devastating effect that this illness can have this is why both my mum and grandad would like to raise awareness and support this cause.
