Skydive for Cancer Research - In memory of Ryan

We are Lee Pettefer, Donna Pettefer, Scott Pettefer and Nathan Berger - Father, Sister, Brother and Brother-In-Law to Ryan Pettefer, who was taken from us last year at the age of 40 by Cancer. Ryan was a dedicated family man. A loving husband and father to 3 children. An absolute gentleman in the truest sense of the word.

Anyone who's lost a relative or close friend, especially at such a young age, knows the grief and sense of loss that goes hand in hand with it. We can't change or make sense of what's happened but we can keep Ryan's memory alive and play our small part to raise money for Cancer Research, in the hope that one day, this disease will no longer devastate families.

How are we planning to do this? By jumping out of a plane at 15,000ft with strangers strapped to our backs in the hope that they know what they're doing. We decided to book the jump after reminiscing about Ryan over a few beers one night. I'm sure Skydive Hibaldstowe receive most of their bookings at 1.30 am on a Sunday morning. Not saying that the beers had nothing to do with our decision to do it but that doesn't diminish the nature of the cause! :)

We are funding the jumps ourselves so ALL of the money raised will go directly to Cancer Research UK.

The jump will take place on Saturday, April 1st 2023 (Fools though we may be, it's not a joke).
