It’s with a heavy heart to have to ask for your support as I take on a sponsored skydive to raise vital funds for a truly special little boy: Jax, my closest friends’ brave son, who is currently battling cancer for the second time.
This skydive is my way of standing with him and his family. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will go directly to supporting them. Please keep scrolling to read their story.
Their son, Jax, is just 2 years old and is facing a devastating relapse of Stage 4 Neuroblastoma cancer first diagnosis in 2023 at just weeks old. As friends and loved ones, it only feels right to rally around them in any way we can.
In July 2023, Jax was declared cancer-free. It was a moment of hope and joy that everyone who knows them will never forget.
For two precious years, Jax was thriving, he was the bubbliest, craziest little boy you could ever meet. Always laughing, full of energy, and constantly on the move, he lit up every room and kept everyone on their toes.
But in July 2025, their worst fear became a reality Jax’s cancer had sadly returned.
This time, tumours have developed in both his brain and spine, resulting in the complete loss of feeling and movement in his legs. For a little boy who loved to run, jump, and go crazy with his big sister Ava, this sudden loss of mobility has been heartbreaking, not just for him, but for everyone who knows and loves him.
Watching Jax have to adjust to this new reality has been devastating. He now faces an extremely intensive treatment plan that is expected to last at least 18 months, possibly longer.
Both Lauren and Keiran have had to stop working so that they can be by Jax’s side throughout it all. Overtime is no longer an option. The financial burden that this adds has become excessive and overwhelming, traveling to and from the hospital, adapting their home for his new needs, specialist equipment, and basic living costs that all continue to build up.
The family is determined to explore every avenue of potential rehabilitation for Jax. Any Funds raised from this will help cover therapies, specialist consultations, equipment, and any innovative treatments that could improve his quality of life and help him regain as much mobility and independence as possible.
Thank you in advance, from the bottom of my heart,
Zoe x
