Skydive for Danae

I am reaching out to you today to share a heartfelt story and request your support for my close friend Danae, who has been facing an incredibly challenging situation. In her battle against acute myeloid leukemia (AML), accompanied by my boyfriend, James and I have decided to take on a skydive, aiming to raise funds for her expenses and offer her the strength and love she needs during this difficult time. I first met Danae during our first year at university. We quickly formed an unbreakable bond. Danae's infectious laughter, kind heart, unwavering intelligence and determination inspired everyone around her. Just over a month ago, Danae's life took an unexpected turn when she was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, an aggressive form of blood cancer, at 20 years old. This news left us with a whirlwind of emotions. Danae's strength and resilience, however, have remained constant throughout this journey. She is fighting this battle head-on and we are all extremely proud of her. In an effort to uplift Danae's spirits and alleviate the financial burden that accompanies her treatment, we have decided to undertake a daring adventure: a skydive in her honour. This will be taking place in Salisbury on the 8th July 2023. By participating in this experience, we hope to raise awareness about her situation and collect funds to support her expenses, ensuring she is relieved from as much stress as possible during her fight against leukemia. Your support, whether big or small, can make an immense difference in Danae's life. Every penny counts, and your contribution will directly go towards Danae and her mum for any expenses, and ongoing care.
