Skydive for Cardiac Risk in the Young

Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of Cardiac Risk in the Young and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
More information about Cardiac Risk in the Young: Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) was established in 1995 to prevent young sudden cardiac deaths (YSCD, SADS) through awareness, screening and research; and to support affected families. CRY funds fast-track services at the CRY Centre for Inherited Cardiovascular Conditions and Sports Cardiology and the CRY Centre for Cardiac Pathology.

We are a small team of nurses and admin staff that work within Cardiology at Epsom General Hospital who are keen to raise money for a local charity called CRY. This charity supports young people with inherited cardiac conditions in preventing sudden cardiac death as well as supporting families who have lost their loved ones suddenly due to such tragedies.

We have chosen to undertake a skydive, not only to raise money but to also raise awareness of the importance of screening for such conditions. CRY estimate that at least 12 young people die every week of undiagnosed heart conditions and we would like to make a difference in supporting this charity in raising awareness, funding research and providing screening as well as bereavement support.
