Hello! My name is Chloe and myself and my dad, Tom are gonna face both our biggest fear of heights and skydive for Bumbleance, The Saoirse Foundation, on the 20th of July 2024. We’re doing this for my dad’s 50th birthday and since he’s already bald and has tattoos, I think this is his form of a mid-life crisis.

Bumbleance is a unique ambulance service for children in Ireland. They bring kids and their families between their homes, hospital, hospice and respite centres all over the country. They have a fun exterior and even better interior with PlayStations, WiFi, Netflix, sensory lights, music and more. I can only imagine the stresses that come with transporting a sick child and Bumbleance make it as stress free as possible for these families.

Another hugely invaluable service that Bumbleance offers is their Angel Trips. This is for terminally ill children who are making their final journey. Without Bumbleance, parents would have to try drive home or to the hospital in these devastating circumstances, or even take a taxi. Bumbleance instead provides the families with one less thing to worry about, and gives these children and their families a compassionate and caring environment to take their last journey.
