My name is Helen. I am a volunteer with Big Hearts 4 Small Paws.

I am doing a skydive on Oct 2nd to raise much needed funds for the rescue.

The first £269 covers the cost of the skydive, after that everything else goes to helping the cats in our care

Big Hearts 4 Small Paws is a local, independent cat rescue born out of a love for cats and a deep need to help strays in Crawley, West Sussex. Since starting in November 2022, our team of dedicated volunteers has helped over 1,000 cats, reaching as far as Birmingham. We currently care for more than 300 cats, relying entirely on donations from the public and the support of volunteer foster carers. Every week, we spend over £300 on food alone to ensure the cats in our care are safe, healthy, and well-fed.

Recently, we've seen a consistent rise in the number of cats needing our help. This year, we've had a record number of kittens born with us, most of whom have come from the streets and are not always in good health. The increasing demand has stretched our resources, and we are facing urgent needs for food, medical care, and supplies. Many of these cats require immediate vet attention, neutering, vaccinations, and ongoing support to recover and find loving homes.
