Fund update
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts for all of the prayers, well wishes and donations. We have all been so blessed during the hardest days of our lives. Our village is unmatched, and we could never repay you all for the support that's been given to us, our children and even our pets in our absence. Thank you!
Aaron has worked SO hard the past 2.5 weeks and has been medically discharged from the hospital.
Unfortunately, we have been playing a waiting game with insurance for about 6 days while BCBS and the hospital go back and forth with denying and reviewing Aaron's case. The hospital must prove that it is medically necessary to transport Aaron from Nevada to Illinois as there are rehab facilities here that can offer the acute level rehab he needs. What isn't offered here is our village of family and friends and our precious children.
We are still standing strong to push for this, so he can ultimately be transported to THE BEST rehab facility via a medical flight.
He was accepted at the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab (SRAL) downtown Chicago. This facility is globally ranked and is the best place for Aaron to continue his recovery. Insurance must agree that is is medically necessary to be here rather than the facility in NV.
At SRAL, I'm confident that he will continue to make gains and be stronger than ever!
He is emotionally overwhelmed, but the videos and messages are motivating and lifting his spirits.
Aaron will have a testimony! A continuance of what he has already been through in his (almost) 42 years here. I've been documenting some of the jaw-dropping experiences that have been my own little gifts of hope!
Please continue to pray for his complete healing and recovery, physical strength and mental health.
With the love and support of our precious family and friends, we are ready to face the next part to come- IN ILLINOIS!
Hi everyone, I’m fundraising for Aaron and his loving family. He is a loving and caring husband to Jenna, and the world’s bestfather to Ava and AJ Hogg. Recently while enjoying vacation for a family birthday Aaron had a stroke, and is on a very long road to recovery back to Illinois. With brain surgery being so heavy on the families hearts, everyone is out of town paying for hotels, not being able to work, and kids not being able to go to school without knowing if dad will be okay. I am reaching out to everyone to help me in order to ease these hard times on the Hogg family, because they are nothing but kind, respectful, caring, outgoing and lovely people. The last thing anyone in this world should have to worry about is how everything will come together, when in such panic, sadness and worry about if a loved one will be okay. All funds will be used to help pay medical bills towards Aaron’s journey of recovery aswell as housing out of state until they are allowed to travel back home . I am very grateful to be able to share this with each in every one of you, donations are greatly appreciated, and
prayers are as well. We all Love you Hogg❤️ Get better soon we miss you❤️
