I am raising money to go towards my son’s girlfriend with Colon cancer. She is a hard working lady who is to proud to ask for help on her own. She has gone through chemo and radiation all the while working on the days that she felt up to it as the treatments took a major toll on her. Her job consists of personal care in an Assisted/ memory care facility.This coming week she has to go to Boston for the removal of the tumor.. it is going to take 3 surgeons to complete this task. While she does have medical insurance it won’t cover nearly enough and won’t help with her day to day expenses. Unlike the chemo and radiation she won’t be able to work at all for 6-8 weeks. I thank you in advance for reading this, if you can give she would be so thankful if you can’t that is okay. I would have done this sooner but I did not think of this. Someone suggested it to me.
