Hello. My name is Uncle Ashley.

On Saturday 22nd February 2025 my world stopped.

My beautiful goddaughter, Ophelia Lily suddenly and unexpectedly passed away in her sleep, aged only 16 months.

The actual cause is still unknown, and further tests are being carried out which is why it’s been classed as a sudden unexpected death in childhood.

To honour her legacy, on Friday 6th June 2025 I will take the leap and jump 10,000 feet from a plane to raise as much money as possible for 2 charities:

1. Ophelia’s Wings - a new charity in the process of setup, started by my best friend and Ophelia’s mummy, Lisa - with the aim to support other mothers going through the same, heartbreaking experience;

2. SUDC UK - a charity dedicated to increasing awareness and understanding of Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC). It also funds research to better understand and prevent these tragedies.

The total funds raised, will be equally split 50/50 between the 2 charities (£500 to Ophelia's Wings & £500 to SUDC UK).

I have set the goal at £1000, but I’m aiming to double this as we have just under 12 weeks to fundraise!
