Our 501c3 non-profit status is pending. Your donations will be tax deductible once that process is complete. Every donation is goes to support the MHS Football Program and the Skubel Scholarship Fund.

The Mission of the Skubel Kids Foundation is to develop leadership, dedication and compassion in the student-athletes involved in the Middletown High School football program.

We will achieve this mission through:

1. Collaboration

We will collaborate with Middletown parents, alumni, and the greater Middletown community.

2. Fundraising

All donations will be used to support:

a. Middletown High School football program needs.

b. Senior football player college scholarships.

Established in 2017, The Skubel Kids Foundation was named in honor of Coach John Skubel.

For more than 35 years, Coach Skubel was a beloved educator and legendary football coach, known in our community for his generosity, friendship, and dedication to his loved ones, students, and players. Sadly, Coach Skubel died at the age of 73 on August 17, 2013, after a nine-year battle with cancer. His legacy is the heart of The Skubel Kids Foundation and is the motivation for its’ work to make life-changing impacts for generations to come!

This campaign is just the beginning of an effort that will continue to connect our student athletes to resources and leaders in our community to prepare equip them for the future!

Since its inception in 2017, The Skubel Kids Foundation has provided scholarships and supporting funds for MHS Football program. The Covid pandemic stunted our growth over the last two years, but with your help we will rejuvenate our efforts to make an even greater difference in the lives of our students this year, and in the years to come!
