In May of 2022, after an abnormal breast exam during a routine prenatal visit with her OBGYN, Amy Van Leuven was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer, which had metastasized in her breast and liver.

Amy lives in Utah with her husband, Bryce, and daughters (Piper and Wren). The Van Leuven’s also house a dog, a cat, multiple horses, and a paddling of ducks! With this devastating cancer diagnosis, Amy's team of doctors worked tirelessly to free Amy of her disease while ensuring a safe and healthy entrance into the world for her youngest daughter.

Amy fought hard, and her scans cleared up after a year and a half of grueling chemotherapy solutions, immunotherapy and alternative therapy solutions, along with a strict vegan diet. She underwent a double mastectomy in early 2024.

In February of 2025, her cancer reappeared in her liver. Amy and her family are finding themselves preparing for another round of therapies.
