No one can plan or prepare for the inevitable obstacles in life. I find myself sitting here, scrambled for words as I seek help for my sisters family during a extremely challenging time. My name is Chanile, and this is my beautiful sister Amber Skrobecky, and her amazing family. Amber has been experiencing severe medical complications. She has spent nearly 3 weeks in critical care. Today, as a family we sat down for a family medical meeting for Amber and the outcome was beyond devastating. Our times with our lovely Amber, have slimmed.
First, I have to tell you all about my sister. Do you all know how big and mighty this woman really is? Let me just tell you, she is the most beautiful sunflower that has always stood so tall, and so lovely. Through any storm, or any rough waters, she smiles, and offers words of love and support to any and all, even every stuffed animal she has ever owned. Amber has always had the hugest larger than life personality. She may be small but she can run circles around any of us and she will never call quits. Trust me, as her sister, I have tested these waters many many times. As a family, we absolutely love and adore her.
At this time Amber is coming home to be surrounded with her family, on hospice care. We arent giving up hope but we are starting to absorb this all and begining to prepare. I would like to try and pull together to try and eliminate the worries of financial burdens for her husband Chris, and her boys. For them to have the opportunity to be together as a family as much as possible instead of having to struggle to provide for every day life or any final costs would make the world of a difference.
Please share as much as you can, as anything helps at this time. Thoughtful words of support love and encouragement are deeply encouraged for Amber, Chris, Brenden And Casey. Please lets all remember that as family and friends, we will get through this together. Dinners are also encouraged as times do get overwhelming. Visits are upon scheduling first with Amber and Chris only. We thank you with all our hearts and we love you all, too.
