Rheba's medical expense

My name is Randy Hutson, I'm married to my high school sweetheart Rheba Blount Hutson. We were married 7 years ago in our 60's Rheba was a bright vibrant woman but 2 years ago she was diagnosed with dementia and has gone from the woman she was to a totally helpless woman, dependent on others for every aspect of her life. We had the recommended 6 months savings in the bank however I have now been off work for 7 months caring for her 24/7. This disease is financially devastating, meds cost up to 1500 dollars a month. She is now being confined to a nursing facility which is about 3500 a month  at the least. At least with her in the home I am able to go back to work to cover part of these expenses, however during the time I was off to help her we have gotten behind on credit card payments and are going into default interest rates. Any help you can give would be geatly appreciated. Thank you.
