Help please my name is Donna and this is my daughter Caitlin. She is mentally challenged with low functioning autism. For the last decade, I’ve been a truck driver all across the United States and Caitlin has been by my side, but a few months ago, her dad passed away and all the things that he had promised to help me take care of her turned out to be not true and living on the road as we’ve been doing is not easy for Caitlin and her health is going down hill fast. She has a very hard time with getting on and off the truck as well as many other things such as her health such as she now has very high blood pressure, diabetes, and severe sleep apnea. I’m looking to figure out how to make a world that is better for her and to do this in an inexpensive way I’m going to build a skoolie which is a bus made into a mobile apartment then work remotely . The reason I’m doing it this way is because I can customize it to Caitlin‘s needs at a much lower price than any house would cost. At that point I’m going to work remote so that I can still show Caitlin some of the beautiful things and people that she enjoys in life and when my time is done, the bus will be able to be put near her brother so that she has somebody else to watch over her. This GoFundMe will help fund the bus and for a short while while a transition into remote work.
