Just before 1030pm on August 14th 2021, Jerome Sylvester was "pronounced dead at the scene" . Jerome was giving what would be his final act of kindness; He was in the area delivering food to his mother. He was awaiting his brother when his life was tragically and senselessly taken. This was an "unspeakable crime" and there are no words to properly express the sorrow of his loved ones; A sorrow that will run deep and long for many.

Gun Violence has taken the life of a man that was expected home by his pregnant wife. Gun violence has taken the life of a man that was expected to be in the delivery room as his daughter made her appearance into this world, in a few weeks. His time with his children has been cut short and his loved ones will no longer see the smile described to " light up the room ".

Jerome wanted the best for his wife and children. He was a hard worker and excellent provider. With the emotional pain and stress of loss that death brings we would like to lighten the financial burden for his family. We want to raise money to help his wife and young children. As a community, let us come together and help this family make it through. Let us show love, support and compassion. We thank you in advance for any support you are able to provide. We encourage to lift his surviving family up in prayer. Keep them in your thoughts and don't take another day for granted.
