Assistance for Cheyenne and Kelly

Donation protected
Today is my dear friends Kelly Smith's Birthday.  Kelly is the most compassionate and hardworking friend, nurse and mother I know. Today, on her birthday, she sits at her daughter's bedside at Albany Medical Center waiting for her 17 year old daughter Cheyenne, to have the ability to speak to her using a full sentence again. On her birthday, she holds her once vibrant, active daughter up as she walks a few steps to the bathroom with
assist from a nurse. On her birthday, she waits in anticipation, hoping and praying cheyenne doesn't have another seizure. On her birthday, she waits patiently for  Cheyenne to have a bed in a long term rehabilitation facility in hopes that she will regain the strength and ability to be her charismatic, fun-loving teenage self again.
Recently Cheyenne suffered from a Traumatic Brain Injury after skiing in a school competition. This had lead Cheyenne to having memory loss and then multiple severe seizures at which point she has since been unable to form words or sentences. Cheyenne had also lost the ability to walk with out assistance from two people.
Cheyenne is not your average 17 year old senior in high school. Cheyenne is a pillar in her community and a scholar. Cheyenne has a smile that could light up a room! She spends most her time helping others by volunteering in her community. She works two jobs and is involved with many school and extra curricular activities. Cheyenne is a senior at Glens Falls High school. She is in National Honor society. In her free time she volunteers at Glens Falls Hospital, Cindy's Comfort Camp as a counselor(where she was a past camper) for young children who have family members who have terminal illnesses or who who have passed away, she volunteers at the Chapmen Museum and has done volunteer work in Nicaragua. Cheyenne enjoys skiing, she plays the Cello and loves photography. Cheyenne has also been a Girlscout since kindergarten.  She has future plans to go to St. Lawrence University or Cornell to be a Neorologist or Radiologist after graduation.
Today, I am asking for support from my friends in helping Kelly have a birthday where she doesn't have to worry about how she will pay for her daughter's medical expenses such as numerous ambulance trips and high copayments that she will have to make now and for continued speech and physical therapy in a long term facility for her daughter. I'm hoping that with what is raised, she can focus on loving her daughter and being there at her daughters bedside while she recovers. Hopefully Cheyenne will regain most her speech, memory and strength back and be able to eventually go to school and fulfill her dreams but for now, hoping for Cheyenne to regain her speech and ability to walk is What's most important.
Any amount will help and be greatly appreciated.  Kelly and Cheyenne are the first to be willing to help anyone in need. It would mean so much to them to have any support during this rough time in there life. They are both strong women. Kelly, a single mother, would be so thankful for any assistance. Please help me raise money for these two special people who truly deserve it.
