Help Dakota and Family Through Cancer Battle

***Update: We feel like we have been given a miracle! Dakotas cancer markers are going down! He will have his labs drawn the week of 3/9/25. If the cancer markers continue to go down they will move to monthly checks and eventually every 3 month checks. At this time he will not have to have Chemo. We feel so blessed for all of your prayers and healing intentions! We are so grateful for the monetary contributions you have made that have helped them through this difficult time. The money has helped them keep up with bills, keep groceries on the table, while Dakota recovered from his surgery and they brought their newborn home. Thank you cannot adequately express how much appreciation and gratitude we have.

Our Beloved son-in-law Dakota was diagnosed with cancer one week before his youngest daughter was born on 2/4/25. Dakota had surgery the day after his diagnosis and will be starting on Chemo in March.

 

He will need to have chemotherapy 5 days a week for at least the next 3 months.

 

Our hearts are breaking for this family. Our daughter Elizabeth will not be able to return to work needing to care for their infant daughter and her husband. She will need to be available to drive him back and forth to his chemotherapy appointments, all while juggling caring for their other children.

Dakota had just started a new job as a mechanic and his benefits had not kicked in prior to his diagnosis and having to be out of work. He hoped to be able to work through his Chemo but his physicians think he will likely be too sick to work and with the frequency of the infusions it does not seem that it will be manageable.

 

This family needs help.

Prayers and healing intentions for Dakota will be greatly appreciated as well. Thank you for considering to help our daughter and son-in-law through this time that no one should have to face. They should be able to be living in the joy of their new infant daughter and not having to face the "C" word.
