Skipper Larry's final jungle cruise

Hi, my name is Francie Meza, and I'm fundraising for my beloved husband, Larry, who is in the final stages of dementia. For the past 50 years, Larry has brought happiness, joy, and laughter to tens of thousands of people of all ages through stand-up comedy, magic performances, hospital visitation as a Santa stand-in and, for the last 20+ years, as Skipper Larry navigating the waters of Disneyland's Jungle Cruise. His charm, wit, and gentle humor never failed to lift the spirits of anyone within his orbit.

For the past fifteen months, Larry's health has deteriorated to such a degree he no longer is able to communicate or even make eye contact. How my heart breaks! He has been my rock since we met and fell in love in 1978. Larry entered hospice in March 2024 and, even with their gracious and tender care, the financial burden of supporting him in the care facility where he now lives - as well as maintaining our small apartment - is breaking me.
