
Skip Strode's Stage 4 Cancer

January 1, 2019, Skip Strode was diagnosed with Stage IV, Prostate Cancer that has spread all over his bones and lungs. As a Tennis Pro for over 30 years, he played Professional Tennis for 10 years and reached a World singles ranking of top 89 in the world and 32 in double with his brother Buzz Strode. He attended Heritage Christina College and Dallas Theological Seminary and received his ThM, Master's in Theology. He has coached every level of tennis from kids, high school, college to pro-athletes including his own children whom all play. His oldest son, Isaiah Strode is currently on the Pro-tour and His third son, Elijah Strode is pursuing a career in professional Tennis. This year he finished his coaching at Torrey Pines High School, who won CIF and Sate Championships, to work on healing. 


He has a beautiful family of 6 kids and has been their coach and a faithful father. Now his whole job is to work on beating this cancer. He is a fighter and we are praying for God to provide everything he needs to do it. We believe that God is good and he can do anything. Will you partner with us?
