Anyone who has had the privilege of being around my best friend Vanessa knows the incredibly selfless and giving heart she has. Consistently putting others before herself and never asking for anything in return. A hard working Mom who loves her two children immensely and does whatever it takes to provide a comfortable life for them. Her 5 year old daughter Hayden has a beautiful soul like her Momma and an energetic personality that instantly draws you in. She loves the beach, unicorns and mermaids, and playing dress up. Baby brother Jason who hasn't stopped wearing his Spiderman costume a month after celebrating his 4th Birthday, is spunky and charismatic. That big smile can cure anyone's bad day.

Vanessa's husband, Jason Godwin tragically passed away on 7/13. He served in the armed forces and demonstrated valor and honor while fighting for our country. Funeral services will be held in his hometown of Indiana as well as here in San Antonio to give him full military honors.

Upcoming open heart surgery for their son Jason Jr. had already placed a financial strain on Vanessa as she would be out of work for an extended period of time to help aide in his recovery. Being employed as a contracted newborn photographer, Vanessa works solely off of comission and is not afforded any benefits such as paid time off. I humbly ask for any kind of help you could offer to my sweet little Vanessa and her babies to assist in the weeks ahead.
