My dad was one of the strongest people I know. However, on January 27th he had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital due to extreme symptoms of what turned out to be Covid and double-pneumonia. After being intubated for a couple of days his levels improved. Throughout the month, we would call the ICU for daily updates and get some positive and some negative but overall he was improving. After one phone call on 2/17/22 we were informed that he was doing so well that he was being down graded and would probably be home within the week. Fast forward five days, we were soon informed that he passed away. All of this hit us like a ton of bricks. None of us excepted this in a million years and we were left unprepared.

As you all may know, my mom is NEVER one to ask for help which is why I'm going to do it for her. Not knowing what she is going to be hit with as far as the extended stay at the hospital and other added medical expenses, any help that can be given, even in just a prayer or thought would be greatly appreciated.

My mom, just like my dad, is one tough cookie and after all she does for everyone else, now's the time that she gets something back. She truly deserves it.
