Skip and Becky Bachert

As many have heard, a tornado swept across Kentucky Friday night leaving massive devastation for several miles. Unfortunately, my Sister, Brother-in-law and Niece experienced this devastation first hand. Becky, Skip and Kayla were in their home when the tornado hit the farm directly but managed to survive after being buried in the rubble. Skip and Becky have lived there for over 20 years and had built a farm life that they loved. Unfortunately, the farm was destroyed including their home, several barns/shelters, multiple vehicles and farm equipment. At this point they are residing in a borrowed travel trailer and are attempting to rebuild shelters for the animals that survived. While insurance is going to assist them with rebuilding, there are expenses they will endure out of their own pocket for years to come. Any donation will help them provide the basics at this point and ease the emotional burden they are experiencing.
