Skip a Coffee, Feed a Future: Omaha Street School's Back-to-School Drive

Every morning, many of us start our day with a $7 coffee without a second thought. For students at Omaha Street School, that same $7 could mean the difference between starting their day hungry or ready to learn.

School starts August 13th, and our shelves are nearly empty.

Our students need morning nutrition to focus on their studies rather than their hunger. Many arrive without breakfast, making it almost impossible to concentrate on learning.

Also, our school policy requires us to provide sealed bottled water for all students—ensuring everyone has equal access to clean, consistent hydration throughout the day, which is essential for focus, learning, and overall health.

Here's how your "skipped coffee" creates immediate impact:

• Your $7 provides breakfast for two students for a day

• $25 (a week of coffee shop visits) supplies our students with bottled water for a week

While most of us can easily grab a coffee or breakfast on the way to work, our students don't have that luxury. By skipping just one coffee and donating that amount instead, you're directly fueling a student's potential.
