Skincare for Change

So many impoverished individuals go without pads and tampons, even though they can make such a large difference in the quality of life. Periods should not be a factor of life that hold you back because of cost reasons, but sadly, that is the reality of the current market. To improve the quality of life of as many impoverished individuals, we aim to dedicate a portion of our funds to purchasing personal hygiene products including those for periods which will be donated along with the other products.

We will also be donating medical products (N95 masks, hand sanitizers, paper towels, wipes) with our funds to help minimize the spread of COVID-19 in shelters.

Skincare and makeup aren’t necessities that determine your ability to live or not, and yet they play such an incredibly large part in the way we feel about ourselves and present ourselves in front of others. For marginalized communities that are often stricken with poverty, makeup and skincare can create a difference in how they feel and present themselves in front of a potential landlord, the mortgage specialist, and even their friends and family - which, in turn, can create a large difference in the quality of their lives, self-confidence, and their happiness level.
