- Hi, my name is Alexus, and I'm fundraising for my best friend Dustin Brown. He has lost 285 pounds on his own without surgery and has been left with a massive amount of loose skin. It affects him physically (rashes, limited mobility, chaffing, back pain) and mentally. Dustin has fought hard to regain his health and life and wants nothing more than to feel comfortable in his own skin. Unfortunately, he would require three major surgeries for his chest, arms, lower body and thighs to remove all of the excess skin. Even though the skin causes him physical problems, it is still considered cosmetic and is not covered by insurance to remove.
