Hi, my name is Grace Gardner, president of SkillsUSA for Buffalo High School in Buffalo Wyoming.
Buffalo High School's SkillsUSA Parliamentary Procedures Team took FIRST place at the state level in Wyoming. We are attending the national competetion in Louisville, Ky., June 19-23, 2017.
We have 8 days to ask businesses for support, sell burgers in the grocery store parking lot, and beg the Bison Backers for more money to make this happen!!!
The same students are gone the week of the 11th - 17th for either FFA Leadership Camp or Band Camp.
The school is willing to "loan" us the money until August but then the parents will have to pay. Most parents in this town can NOT afford this, especially if they are already paying for sports camps and music camps and summer baseball and car insurance for a teenager!
We have 5 students on the Parli-Pro team attending nationals and one advisor, the great Mr. Chesbro. We need help to finish paying for flights, hotel, and food. We will be driving to Denver (from Buffalo, WY) to save LOTS of money on the flights to and from Louisville, KY!
