We are the Shoemaker family and last Thursday, March 3rd, we lost our beautiful son/brother Tyson. He passed away in Utah, skiing at Beaver Mountain when he hit a tree. Tyson was a very experienced skiier, and this was just a freak accident. He was wearing a helmet, and following all of the skiing guidelines. Tyson was not only a great skiier, but just a wonderful person. He lit up every room he walked into. His eyes and his smile will forever be remembered, and we were so lucky to have known such a lovely young man. Tyson loved skiing more than anything. It brought him so much joy, and we are at peace knowing that he left this world doing something he loved so much. Because of his passion for skiing, this donation will be going toward the young kids in our community to learn to ski. This is what Tyson would've wanted. Please donate what you can, anything helps.
