After a year and a half in remission, his family received devastating news this summer: Dan’s cancer has returned, and it’s come back aggressively. Doctors found a brain tumor in his left frontal temporal lobe, along with concerning spots near his lungs and chest wall.

In the past weeks, Dan has already undergone brain surgery and started rounds of targeted radiation. Scans have revealed that new tumors are appearing, and his treatment plan continues to evolve with multiple specialists working together. Despite the challenges, Dan is meeting each step with courage, humor, and hope.

Right now, Dan is unable to return to work as he focuses on treatment and recovery. Dan and his family are making frequent trips to Madison for radiation and follow-ups, while still balancing everyday life.
