SKI 4 ALL

Dear friends,

I'm writing to share with you the joy of my official selection to represent Lebanon in Alpine skiing at the next Youth Olympic Games in Korea. It's an immense joy, but above all an immense pride for me to represent this country in which I've never lived, but to which I'm deeply attached. I wanted to share this joy with you, but also tell you about a project close to my heart: Ski 4 All!

When my brother and I went to Lebanon for the first time to race in the national championships in 2022, we were surprised by the quality of the Lebanese skiers, despite the lack of means and equipment for many of them. In a country in crisis, skiing is the last priority for many families, even though skiing is often their children's only hobby. Andrea and I are extremely lucky to be able to train in the most beautiful areas with the latest technical equipment. We wanted to share this good fortune with other children, and so little by little the idea of Ski 4 All was born.

We contacted French ski clubs, in particular the Courchevel Sports Club, and asked them for help in the form of equipment donations. They responded, touched by our initiative and the situation in Lebanon, a country they know very well.

We have also received donations from some of the top skiers on the circuit.

We therefore decided to formalize our initiative and create Ski 4 All, whose mission will be to help young Lebanese skiers without financial means.

Its mandate will be to lend equipment and provide financial assistance to young people wishing to train abroad when snow conditions in Lebanon do not allow it. We submitted our application to the Lebanese authorities several months ago to have the NGO's articles of association validated. We are still awaiting their validation, but we hope to be able to operate fully officially very soon.

In the meantime, we have decided to launch this "go fund me account" to appeal to your generosity. All funds raised will be used to cover the cost of storing and transporting this equipment, and to partially or fully finance training courses for young Lebanese racers in need, with the continued help and support of the Lebanese Ski Federation.
